Alarms and Detection
A setup of heat and smoke detection system in any premises has proven to have reduce fire losses by huge. The presence of an optimal setup of these detection systems detects excessive heat or smoke generation at any part of the premises and initiates the alarm systems to give out loud sound/light signal thereby alarming the trained response team to take control of the situations and providing other occupants time for evacuating the premises in time and without injury. There can be two kinds of detection systems addressable and non-addressable.
Addressable Systems are those which locate the exact trigger point in case the alarm system gets activated while Non-Addressable systems are bundled together and hence there would be no information available on the exact trigger point. Addressable systems are generally advisable in case of large premises so that the response team may take adequate action and evacuation plan may be run accordingly.
Flooding/Automatic Fire Suppression Systems (AFSS)
Flooding Systems/ AFSS launches themselves automatically in case of activation due to excessive heat or direct contact with flames. These systems may flood the installed region with various chemicals, gases and even water.Find below the table for which agent is used for different applications and also the compositions of these chemicals.

Hydrant System
This system is one of the most important and basic requirement for any setups fire fighting requirements. Here the whole building and encircling around is laid a pipeline of MS Steel and then connected to a water source (generally these water tanks are built on top of the building and underground). The steel pipes are then further connected to the water tanks and aided with centrifugal pumps to provide high water pressure at the time of use. Once the whole pipeline is laid than provisions are made to attach hose reels and hose pipes which are used to reach further inside or outside the buildings at the time of fighting fire.
Another important usage of the Hydrant system is that an inlet is provided outside the building premises which are used by the local fire brigade to charge the system back when the tank’s water is already exhausted.

Manual
Manual Systems mainly pertains to handheld fire fighting equipments like Fire Extinguishers, Fire Buckets, Fire Beaters, Hypothermia Blankets, and Fire Retardant Suit etc. The objective of these equipments is the same as all the other fire fighting solutions i.e. Fire Loss Minimization. Manual potion of fire fighting in any premises becomes important in case of system failures (complete or partial) as these remain the only options for escape for the entrapped individuals.
ELECTRONIC SURVEILLANCE
CCTV Cameras
CCTV Security is one of the major surveillance tool in present scenario. The objective remain same for all the variants and it is to observe the various activities at a location. These observations can be used for surveillance and security purposes as well as monitoring. There can be 4 systems in which these cameras can work:

  • Conventional/ Wired – This system is one of the simplest ones where all cameras are connected to the Digital Video Recorder (DVR) with help of wires and is viewed on a screen connected to the DVRs. The capacity of DVR memory determines how long one may store the video footages.
  • Wireless – With the help wireless equipments and routers the whole system can be made wireless. This type of setup is primarily advisable where the camera location and place of viewing the footage are distant hence making it very difficult to lay wires.
  • IP Based System – One of the more advanced forms of CCTV surveillance is IP based cameras which runs directly on the LAN. Here a Network Video Recorder (NVR) displaces the use of DVRs. The systems technically efficient though the prices for this setup is much higher than a & b stated above.
  • Hybrid System – To resolve the problems of high priced IP Based module while getting its technical advantage brings forward the opportunity to combine all the systems and create a Hybrid.
Access Control
Access Control Systems has the following objectives:

  • Helps in Security by only allowing entrance of authorised Personnel.
  • Provides reports for payroll related issues.
  • Improves work efficiency of employees by keeping a tab on each entry and exit made.
  • Can be integrated with CCTV system.

Access Control can be through convention devices by using number pads and access cards or using biometric devices to read fingerprints, retina or face.

System Integration
System Integration is not in itself a tool for electronic surveillance but it is a system designed for each client. We integrate all system onto a single panel. The usage of such system is that instead of having various viewing and controlling panels for fire alarm system, burglary alarm, access control etc one may have a single point access and control. This systems turns to be very useful for a premises which is fully loaded with many systems hence reducing the operational inefficiencies.
